Happy (almost) Graduation!

Saturday was Alan's graduation from Whitworth with his Masters Degree in Secondary Education. We are getting very excited for him to be finished with this hurdle. He has enjoyed all the classes, but we have not enjoyed having Daddy gone for evening classes so we are glad this chapter is soon coming to a close. He has to finish his Professional Certification and take two short course this summer, then he will really be done! Hip hip hooray! So, since he so so close, he walked in the ceremony this last weekend and I must say looked very scholarly. :) I hear the ceremony was quite nice and the speakers were very good, but I wouldn't know since Maya was being a bit noisy so I had to take her out for most of it. I did however get to see Alan walk across the stage and be "hooded" :), so I can't complain. Alan's parents and his Gramma were able to come to the ceremony, so it was a nice little pre-celebration. :)

Sorry, this is not a very good picture...my camera was freaking out. Anyway, that is Alan in the middle waiting to have his hood put on him.

And here we are after the ceremony.
