Wyoming

Well, I can now say I've been to Wyoming. We went for a long weekend to Powell, WY for Alan's 10 year high school reunion. We had a wonderful time and were blessed by our friends Zack and Diana (who was responsible for putting the reunion together)...as they put up with us for three and a half days! In Alan's words, it was the best reunion ever. ;) Now, what you've all been waiting for...pictures!

Here's Maya after our 10 hour drive, riding a bucking bronco!

Powell High School class of 1998. This pictures is from Friday night gathering. Lots of new people for me and old friends of Alan's. It was fun (and a little overwhelming) to meet some of the people that I've heard stories about! (Where's Waldo, uh I mean Alan? He is in the picture.)

Then on Saturday PHS class of 1998 had a picnic lunch and the kids enjoyed playing the wading pool at Homesteader Park. I must say, Powell does have some nice parks for being such a small town.

Mason and Maya playing in the play room, they had so much fun playing together. Maya is not quite as content at home with her toys now that she has experienced life with Grace and Mason and their toys. (Grace and Mason are Zack and Diana's kids.)

Grace looking super cute after a week of VBS.

Maya enjoying Cody, WY. Alan worked for a rafting company based in Cody, we were almost able to float the river with that company, but at the last moment it didn't work out. Oh well, next time!

Maya and Mommy getting ready for a little walk to the dam.

View of the canyon below the dam outside of Cody, between Yellowstone and Cody.

So there you go, the best of what few pictures we took on our little vacation. We had a really great time, the trip made Alan miss Wyoming a lot, and we are already talking about 'the next time'.

How fun! I like trips! Wyoming is certainly a pretty state! I have only been there a few times. I had roommates from there. It looks like you had nice weather! See you soon!!
